THE HIDDEN CAUSES OF WEIGHT GAIN |
|
|
|
Weight loss is at best 25% exercise and nutrition, the remaining 75% comes from the power of the mind. Every thought, every behaviour and every nutritional requirement is born out of the need to balance acid and alkalinity within ourselves. The two chemical states, of acid and alkaline, that run through our veins are physical representation of the two minds, the conscious and the unconscious. Acid represents the cold calculated consciousness that serves self; alkaline represents the warm hearted unconsciousness that automatically serves others. Our lives are a constant balancing act; in summary the purpose of life is the attainment of the middle ground between serving self and serving others in harmony.
The acid consciousness and the alkaline unconsciousness are merely executioners of the deeply intrinsic human need for love and attention. The giving and receiving of these two needs is the principle currency of the modern man. However, the attention we receive, neither through our behaviour or significance through achievement and the love we share in our interactions with others, is only on an external plain. The ultimate endeavour of all people is the attainment of love and attention from an internal perspective, but the payment for this is time. Time is the one missing factor in our modern world. Time, the massively underestimated resource of the millionaire and pauper alike, is the one nutrient missing on any diet or eating plan.
A person without the time for self love and attention will always be at the mercy of external forces, their own reserve bank will always be depleted.
Overweightness is a call from our unconscious mind, through the medium of our bodies to address the fulfilling of our deepest needs, which are being sadly neglected or suppressed due to compliance of imposed external values.
Baring the overweight through genetic inheritance or illness, being overweight is a “call” that the person is not taking responsibility for getting their needs met. An overweight person is highly “conscious” of themselves; this is precisely the effect the “call” intends to elicit. The call comes from the “subconscious” via the body and clearly states that the person needs a strong “conscious” identity.
Strong “conscious” identity is what separates the slim from the overweight.
Strong “conscious” identity is intrinsically linked to strong boundaries; strong boundaries will fight, protect and defend their city walls.
To survive in the conscious arena of life a person must be able to defend themselves, even if that defence comes in the form of just a solitary “NO”
Poor boundaries are systematic of overweight people; they have poorly defended city walls. The border between serving self and serving others is not clearly defined.
Sometimes we need to say no, in order to preserve our own resources such as time and energy
The slim have strong conscious identity, however misguided or misplaced that identity may be, they may not even be happy with their identity but nonetheless they have one and that is what is required to survive in the conscious arena.
Those without strong conscious identity and the ability to defend their boundaries naturally struggle to survive, so coping strategies are needed.
There are several coping strategies, one of which is to simply not enter the conscious arena at all, this can be done by staying in a state of semi glazed automaton, although awake they are not fully present, not fully “conscious”, they remain to a lesser or greater degree in a state of alkaline unconsciousness. It would be easier to summarize this person as keeping themselves “off the radar”, they simply don’t see themselves.
.
The net result of any coping strategy is that the real core issue is being bypassed, as a result of taking the “responsibility bypass” all roads lead across the border into the “Alkaline State”.
When we are at rest or in some way unconscious we alkalise, that is scientific fact, it is common knowledge that we alkalise our bodies when we sleep. We fail to realise many of us are sleep walking through life, sticking to automaton living as the uncertain world around us engulfs us and threatens to overwhelm us. We give massive service to the companies and corporations whom we work for, in terms of time and energy, so much so there is little time for ourselves to take part in our own lives. The act of giving engenders alkalinity and so our account in this element accrues.
We have become heavily alkaline.
For the acid conscious person this is great news, modern lifestyle actually helps them neutralise, for the already alkaline person this is a total disaster, it pushes them further away from the neutral point.
The imbalances of modern life are now manifest and evident in the “body talk” of the overweight.
